Kemper had his 2 month well-baby appointment this morning. He weighs 14lbs 3oz and is 24.25in! He's in the 95 percentile for height and weight! :) We've got a big boy on our hands! Luckily, daddy was here to go with us to this appointment because Kemper got his first vaccinations this morning. Poor baby, he was smiley and happy when they gave him his oral vaccine (put anything near the kids mouth and he thinks it's food and LOVES it) but then, the nurse stuck the first needle in and it all went downhill. James said (yes, I didn't look, I sat in the opposite corner of the room and tried to fight back the tears) that his eyes got really big, his face turned blood red and then he SCREAMED for all he was worth. He got 2 shots in one leg and one in the other. Seems to be doing ok now aside from going on hour 3 of a nap.
I'll update more next week after James heads back to the desert. We've had a great time, gone on a family vacation, had family portraits taken twice and just enjoyed having one another around. :)
